![]() | Memoirs of a Single Mother: The Teenage Party Years, published 2005 , in an edition of three, is a12 high, 8 wide, 10deep, draped in a blue velvet shawl. There are three drawers. The box opens to a theatre tableau of self-portrait dolls, accordion-pleated pages with images reproduced from 11x14 painted photographs of her children's teenage parties, opening on each side to a full length of 96 inches. The second drawer contains another self-portrait, and the artist's Housework Manifesto. The third drawer contains book introduction by Belle Gironda, Ph.D., with essays by Lee Howard and the artist's two children, Roscoe Fox and Caitlin Williams. Design collaboration with Kevin Kennedy and Andrea Engber.. The Extraordinary Adventure of Camilla and the Fairy Cat , published 1992, in an edition of 50, is hard bound, 86 pages with words and pictures. The book measures 12x 12 and the original art is mostly 8 x 10 hand-painted gelatin silver prints. The swimming sequences are reproductions of 11 x 14 halo-chromed gelatin silver prints. The book is a poetic document of the artist's daughter's coming of age and a celebration of the mother-daughter relationship. Photographic doll on book box is photo transfer on fabric. The Pathos of Birds, 2000 artist's edition book, accordion-pleated book in book box, 10 x 10. Reproductions are from 11 x 14 photograms which are toned gelatin silver prints. Design collaboration with Kevin Kennedy. Portrait Dolls are photographic transfers on fabric, stuffed and embellished. Some are liquid emulsion on fabric. Sizes range from seven inches to 3'. Color photographs of dolls are 11 x14. Portraitures and Vignettes are gelatin silver prints. Some are toned and hand-painted.
